Terms of Use
The Noble Impact Awards website allows you to explore the competition, discover recognized achievements, and access entry and account services.
These Terms of Use explain the conditions for using our website, your responsibilities as a user, and how website content and submitted materials are handled.
1. Scope and Related Terms
The Noble Impact Awards website is operated by International Awards Associate (“IAA”, “we”, “us” or “our”). These terms govern website access, account use and interactions through the website.
Award participation and purchases are governed by our Terms & Conditions. Entrants must agree to the Terms & Conditions before submitting an entry. The applicable purchase terms must be presented before a purchase is completed.
If these Terms of Use conflict with the Terms & Conditions, the Terms & Conditions take precedence for the relevant entry or purchase.
Personal information and cookies are handled as explained in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
2. Acceptable Use
You may use the website to explore the awards, view published achievements, manage your account, submit entries and access related services.
You must not:
- Use the website for unlawful, fraudulent or misleading purposes.
- Impersonate another person or organization or misrepresent your authority to act on their behalf.
- Upload harmful software or attempt to access accounts, systems or information without authorization.
- Disrupt the website or interfere with another user’s access.
- Use automated tools to collect website content or personal information without authorization, except for ordinary search engine indexing.
- Submit content that infringes another person’s intellectual property, privacy or other rights.
- Submit fabricated evidence or misrepresent achievements, results, impact, affiliations or endorsements.
3. Accounts and Security
An account may be required to submit entries, manage submissions or access certain website services.
You must provide accurate account information and keep it reasonably up to date. If you act on behalf of an organization, team or another individual, you must have authorization to do so.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and managing access by anyone you authorize to use your account. You must not sell or transfer your account without our prior written approval. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access or misuse.
We may restrict or suspend account access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, a security concern or a breach of these terms. Where practicable, and where doing so would not compromise security, an investigation or compliance with applicable law, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to resolve the issue.
Any effect on submitted entries or purchases will be handled under the applicable provisions of our Terms & Conditions. Personal information associated with your account is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
4. Website Content and Intellectual Property
Website text, graphics, logos, layouts and other materials are owned by IAA or their respective rights holders.
You may view website content and download materials expressly provided for download, subject to any stated usage conditions. Other reproduction, modification, distribution or commercial use requires permission from the relevant rights holder, unless permitted by law.
Projects, campaign materials, photographs, videos, reports and other submitted works displayed on the website remain the property of their respective rights holders. Their publication does not grant visitors permission to reproduce, adapt or otherwise use them.
5. Award Logos, Badges and Certificates
Award logos, winner badges and certificates must be used in accordance with the applicable usage guidelines.
Their use must accurately reflect the recognition received, including the competition year, award level, category or Honor, and recognized recipient or entry where applicable.
They must not suggest recognition that has not been awarded or imply that IAA endorses unrelated products, services or activities. Award recognition must not be presented as regulatory approval, professional certification or independent verification of every claim made by a recipient.
6. Submitted Materials
You must possess the necessary rights and permissions to provide content, files and information through the website, including permission to disclose confidential or third-party information where applicable.
Competition entries must comply with our Terms & Conditions and published entry requirements. Descriptions, credits, supporting evidence and claims about results or impact must be accurate and must not be misleading.
Materials provided for other purposes, including jury applications, nominations and enquiries, may be received, stored and processed as reasonably necessary to handle your request, in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Public use requires separate permission or another applicable authorization.
Publication of an entry or recipient profile does not, by itself, mean that IAA has independently audited or verified every statement, figure or claim it contains.
7. Information and Website Availability
We take reasonable care to keep website information accurate and current, but errors, omissions or technical interruptions may occur.
We may correct information and maintain or update the website when necessary. Corrections affecting existing entries or purchases will be handled under our Terms & Conditions and applicable legal requirements.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. If a technical issue affects your submission or transaction, contact us promptly with details so we can review the circumstances.
8. External Links and Services
The website may link to third-party websites or use external services, including payment platforms.
Your use of those third-party websites or services may be subject to additional terms and privacy policies. A link does not by itself indicate our endorsement.
This section does not exclude or limit any responsibility we have under applicable law.
9. Privacy and Cookies
Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used, stored and shared, together with applicable privacy rights and contact details.
Our Cookie Policy explains the use of cookies and similar technologies and the choices available to website visitors.
10. Responsibility and Liability
You are responsible for your unlawful use of the website and for losses caused by your submission of false information or materials that you are not authorized to provide, to the extent attributable to your conduct under applicable law.
We are not responsible for losses caused solely by your misuse of the website or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We do not exclude responsibility for our own conduct where applicable law requires us to accept it.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Your mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.
Responsibilities relating to competition entries, fees, judging, award recognition and purchases are addressed in our Terms & Conditions.
11. Intellectual Property Claims
IAA and the Noble Impact Awards are not intellectual property tribunals and, except where required by applicable law, have no obligation to determine the ultimate legal merits of competing ownership or infringement claims.
We may review available information and restrict, remove, restore or maintain content as reasonably appropriate, subject to applicable law and binding court orders. Any action we take concerning content does not constitute a legal determination of ownership or infringement.
Any effect on entry eligibility or award recognition will be handled under our Terms & Conditions.
12. Changes, Governing Law and Contact
IAA may update these Terms of Use to reflect changes in the website, technology, services or applicable legal requirements. Where changes materially affect account holders, we will provide reasonable notice before they take effect, except where immediate action is necessary for legal or security reasons. Where required, we will obtain renewed agreement.
Updates to these Terms of Use will not retrospectively change the terms governing an existing competition entry or purchase. Those activities remain subject to the applicable Terms & Conditions.
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Subject to any mandatory rights available under applicable law, the courts of Malaysia have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes relating to these Terms of Use or use of the Noble Impact Awards website.
If any provision of these Terms of Use is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
Questions concerning these Terms of Use may be submitted through our Contact Us page.
